THE CYLINDER
Understand the system behind breath, pressure, stability, and movement.
Explore how the respiratory diaphragm, pelvic floor, abdominal wall, and deep spinal stabilizers work together to help us breathe, manage pressure, create stability, and move.
Start the CylinderBREATHING DOESN'T HAPPEN IN ISOLATION
Your diaphragm doesn't work alone.
Every breath occurs within a coordinated system involving your ribcage, abdominal wall, pelvic floor, spine, and deep stabilizing musculature.
Instead of simply asking, “Am I breathing correctly?” let's start asking:
“How is my body coordinating breath, pressure, and movement?”
Aspects of the Cylinder
Respiratory Diaphragm
Pelvic Floor
Deep Abdominal Muscles
Deep Spinal Stabilizers
These structures don’t work in isolation. The Cylinder explores how they work together to coordinate breath, pressure, stability, and movement. We need to coordinate the core, before we strengthen the core.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN + EXPERIENCE
Learn the anatomy and function of each component of the Cylinder, then explore those relationships in your own body through breathing, palpation, positional drills, and movement.
Breath → Pressure → Position → Stability → Movement
The goal isn't to find one perfect breathing or movement strategy. It's to build options.

Anyone curious about breathing and movement
Why I created this course.
I kept coming back to the same question:
How do we talk about breathing without talking about everything that's responding to the breath?
The more I studied anatomy, biomechanics, pressure management, and movement, the less interested I became in looking at the diaphragm in isolation.
The Cylinder brings those relationships together in a way that is understandable, experiential, and usable.
