Breath for Life: A Free Self-Paced Mini Course

Breathing is something we do all day, every day, but sometimes a little intentional exploration can change how we feel, move, and regulate.

Breath for Life is a free mini course designed to give you simple, accessible breathing practices you can use throughout your day. We explore techniques including the cyclical sigh, box breathing, alternate nostril breathing, and simple positional breathing drills that encourage you to experience breath and expansion in different areas of the body.

This course isn’t about finding the “perfect” way to breathe. It’s about building options.

Come breathe, explore, and discover what feels useful for your body.

Program Details

Breath for Life is a free mini course designed to give you simple breathing tools you can return to again and again.

Throughout the course, we explore several approaches to breath and nervous system regulation, including:

  • Cyclical sighing
  • Box breathing
  • Alternate nostril breathing
  • Simple positional breathing drills
  • Exploring expansion into different areas of the ribcage
  • Using breath as a tool for regulation, awareness, and movement

There is no “perfect” breath we are trying to achieve. Instead, this course is about giving your body options and helping you discover which strategies feel useful for you in different moments.

Why I Created Breath for Life

Breath and the nervous system are where I start with every client I work with.

And, truthfully, they are where I continually need to start with myself.

Not because something is wrong. Simply because I’m human and I’m living through life.

We experience stress. We get busy. We adapt. We hold our breath. We breathe differently when we're excited, overwhelmed, focused, tired, exercising, performing, or simply trying to get through a difficult day.

Our breathing reflects so much of what is happening within us.

That’s why I wanted to create something simple that you could come back to whenever you need it.

Breath for Life isn’t about teaching you the “right” way to breathe.

It’s an invitation to slow down, explore your breath, give your nervous system some different input, and build a collection of tools you can use throughout your life.

Because sometimes, before we add more…

we can start with the breath.
