OneBody/OneVoice 2024

August 2-4, 2024 at Penn State University (In Person at Penn State or virtually via ZOOM)

Penn State Musical Theatre Voice Pedagogy and its internationally recognized ‘Bel Canto/ Can Belto musical theatre voice pedagogy workshops have teamed with the holistic voice program The Visceral Voice to create the fourth annual OneBody/OneVoice, returning to Penn State University in August, 2024. This one-of-a-kind voice pedagogy workshop was founded on the idea that your body IS your voice, and that understanding body science will deepen your artistic toolkit to make you a much more effective teacher and/or singer. The core curriculum includes body-related workshops like Self-Care for the Singer and Positional Movement Drills. These are designed to regulate the nervous system and optimize subglottal pressure. Additionally, cutting-edge musical theatre voice pedagogy is covered for both beginning and advanced singers and teachers.
